The Joy of Giving.... The Joy of Receiving....
For the 3rd year running NewCoast Metropolitan Community Church is proud to be in partnership with Guys Around Gosford in the distribution of Christmas presents to disadvantaged youth and children on the Central Coast. Over 100 gifts were donated to CASSY (Coastal Accommodation Services Supporting Youth) based in Gosford. Thirteen young people and 14 children (Newborn to 5 years) were overwhelmed to receive the many wonderful gifts as well as Lions Club Christmas Cakes purchased by the Group.
This small group of GAG'ers (12) give so generously each Christmas and Easter, taking great delight in shopping for these young people and their children and then wrapping each gift so beautifully. This act of love and compassion to strangers brings great joy to both those giving and receiving and it is my prayer that all concerned will be truly blessed this Holy Season of Christmas.

Generation Q - enhancing the health, well-being and social life of GLBTIQ youth on the Central Coast and beyond.
What you call yourself, or how you identify can sometimes be very important. It gives you a sense of belonging and knowledge of self. Sometimes how you identify can cause others to misunderstand or, worse, fear who you are. You are not alone - Many people in this world are attracted to people of the same-sex. Be who you are - there is no need to change yourself to fit a mould. Everyone has their own identity. There is more than just one way to live.
Generation Q is a network of young people, welfare workers, and welfare services who work collectively to provide young same-sex attracted and gender variant people with support and a safe, confidential and fun place to meet. Generation Q is now running a social support group for young people, with gatherings on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 3pm to 5:30pm @ Parkside, 123 Donnison Street, Gosford, (02) 4323 2374.

P-Flag (Parents and friends of lesbians and gays) works to help keep families together
PFLAG support group meetings provide a safe space for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning people and their friends and families to share their feelings and experiences, to explore their identity, and to seek the acceptance and unconditional love that their members have to offer.
